I can drive now!!!

Finally I drive alone... yes... after a few months driving with a co driver, my dad, I finally drive alone. It's been 3 days driving to the office and I am so proud of myself.
I'm still bad in parking though but I hope to improve in a few months time...

another earthquake

Approx. 6pm

I was browsing the net, suddenly the floor trembled pretty hard. I turned to see the water in the gallon, it shook. An earthquake, again.... this time is more violent.
We stayed until the shake stopped and ran to the lift.
Thank God, No one hurt...

I was filling my glass by the water dispenser at the office, when my friend said "I think it's an earthquake..."
I stood still and true enough my body swaying slowly... all of us looked at each other, grabbed our bags and half running towards the lift... gee... we're on the 20th floor!!!
We finally reached the ground floor safe and stayed there until we thought it was safe to go back to the office. Strangely, no announcement made by the building nor my office management.
Later I learned that tsunami hit southern part of Java. What we felt was not the earthquake but when the wave hit the shore...

I am everywhere

Bali, a few years back.
My mom and I walked in a leather jacket shop, then the attendant greeted us in english. later I realised that he thought I was a Japanese tourist staying at the hotel he worked for.

Singapore, a couple years back.
One fine day, my lecturer asked: "your sister studied here before, didn't she?"
I have no sisters.

Jakarta, yesterday.
My colleague said I looked like his niece.

I get that a lot of time.
It seems there are "me-look-alike" almost everywhere.

Imagine, God has several human moulds...

superman has returned

I grew up watching Superman, He’s my first love…
Not until he met Lois Lane… damn…

Anyway, It broke my heart that Christopher Reeve had the accident and couldn’t act as Superman anymore. For me, he’s the most suitable actor for the Man of Steel.
I couldn’t imagine anyone else replacing him, until I watched "Superman Returns”.
Brandon Routh is the new Superman!! (Chris, I hope you are watching from up there…)


By the way, I hate Lois Lane. That neurotic b$*%# even has a son with him…
