The wings beneath my wings

I used to hate fried chicken wings. But Wing Dome's chicken wings really changed my view.
Their wings are so crispy and tasty I just fell for it since the first bite.
Now, it's my fave place for lunch, snack and dinner.
It has great hot cappuccino too, with chocolate cinnamon stick.
Too bad I quit coffee for a while now. But they serve variety of flavoured tea, and my choice either hot strawberry or peach tea.

In fact I'm slurping the hot strawberry tea while typing now...

Serabi Boy

Serabi/ Surabi is an Indonesia pancake made of rice flour, sugar and coconut milk.

My fave serabi stall is Serabi Boy at Air Mancur, Bogor. The sidewalk stall opens from 5pm onwards.

It sells variety of serabi. My usual order is chocolate rice serabi with cheese and bandrek. yumm...

Please come early during the weekend, or you won't get your fave serabi even before 9pm.

It's about time...

I have a friend who refuse to stay at Hilton hotel anywhere in the world knowing that she'll spend her money for breeding that spoilt party animal brat. Yes, you know who I'm talking about...

Now, she's out of jail for some undisclosed medical condition. I just wonder what the medical condition is. Look at her at MTV Movie Award... Do you really think she's so sick she couldn't serve her time?
Come on Paris... go back to your humble prison room and if possible, dissapear forever!!!

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!!

The rising of the appetite

I was 52 kg weighted during my last visit to the gynae 2 weeks ago.
And this morning, I am 54 kg. 2 kg in 2 weeks? hmmm... or is it my scale that didn't work properly?...
Come to think about it, eversince my pregnancy reached week 13 my appetite is back to normal. Now, I get hungry often and my eating portion is increasing.
I guess it's time to watch what I eat, after all it's not about quantity but the quality.

The world's end

My hubby and I just watched "Pirates of the Carribean, The World's End". I think it's one of the best sequel movies, beside "Spiderman".
And this time no interruption like a black out.
But the couple sitting beside us kept talking and blurting out silly comments. Please, it's not 'layar tancep' so shut the hell up!!

13 weeks and going strong

13 weeks ago, I was down with flu and fever that lasted like forever.
My cousin thought that I might be pregnant. But the test pack showed otherwise. So I gobbled some antibiotics.

10 weeks ago, I was still not feeling well. Another test pack. And yes, this time it's POSITIVE!

8 weeks ago, the morning sickness started to bug me.
Loss appetite and feeling dizzy kept me home and in bed most of the time.

5 weeks ago, the first time I saw my tiny baby... our little star!!
Still a small round thing but I could hear its' heart beating really fast...

A week ago, another visit to the gynae. Another peek to my belly.

The dot has grown into a 7cm almost perfect shape. And the tiny hands were waving at us... Hi there!!!

Silent Spiderman

Last Friday my hubby and I went to Djakarta Theatre for Spiderman 3.

The place was pretty full with kids, to our horror. We've been having bad experiences watching movie with kids. They're noisy, irritating and yes parents, please control your kids in the cinema!

Surprisingly, those kids were pretty well behaved so we could enjoy cute Peter Parker turning into evil. But halfway into the fighting scene, there was a black out in the cinema!!! About 2 mins. Later the movie is back on screen but there was no sound.
Can you imagine the frustration? It went on like almost 5 mins. Even when the sound is back on, it was not full surround system. How can this happen in a reputable XXI cinema? There was no apologise or any words from the management... And this is not the first time we experience uncomfortable service at XXI Cinema. Isn't there any way for us, customers, to be compensated for the bad services we get?

When it happened...

When it finally happened, it's unlike we have planned at all.
The wedding became family matters, and we just had to follow what they wanted...
I'm relieved that we have gone through it...

Now, we're standing on the next level... are we ready?
